From the very beginning, Gerda, the host, was incredibly accommodating-arranging my airport shuttle seamlessly for my late arrival. The relaxed atmosphere included cozy seating areas, which I appreciated after my long journey. The rooms were tidy and simple but equipped with essentials like free Wi-Fi and complimentary toiletries. Breakfast was hearty and offered enough variety to kickstart my day, although I missed my preferred combination of bacon and eggs. The coffee was delightful! They also have a lush garden area if you wish to unwind outside. One significant advantage is the secured parking, a massive relief in any city. While some might expect more luxurious amenities, I found that the comfort and attention to detail made Oak Guest House a worthwhile choice. For anyone traveling to Cape Town, this gem offers a solid blend of quality and affordability-definitely worth considering for your next stay!
